In the process of doing the 1000 Challenge Jesse discovered a new hobby that quickly evolved into one of his life's passions; photography. Over the course of the year, he took over 20,000 photos.
Jesse shot pictures all over the world of everything he could aim his lens at. From mountains, to oceans, to sunsets and sunrises, he took pictures of them all. Ancient ruins, historical sites, exotic foods, local festivals… all were subjects of the 1000's of pictures Jesse snapped over the year.
As Jesse took more and more pictures his skill with the camera improved. He began paying more attention to little, subtle details. Jesse started to take into consideration the lighting of the shot. He learned the importance of shutter speed when shooting night shots. More importantly than all of this, Jesse fell in love with photography.
Jesse felt like he had become a steward to the world, entrusted with the task of show casing its beauty to anyone who would want to take a minute and look at it. As the year progressed, he had many people write to him and express an interest in his photography. People, all over the world, were urging him to publish his photos, to share the beauty of the world beyond the 1 Year 1000 Challenge Facebook page.
Now, one year and over 1000 Challenges later, Jesse wants to share some of his photos with all of you. He has picked some of his favorite photos from the year and transformed them into a collection of prints, post cards, and collectibles that will leave you both breathless and inspired.
Every photo is taken by Jesse. In addition, any and all sayings that may appear on the photos are Jesse's own original words. Nearly everything will be a limited edition print; Jesse is doing this to ensure you have something special.
